At Prayer: ARMENIA, GEGHARD Monastery:

            This UNESCO world heritage site is one of many ancient and marvellous religious complexes in Armenia. Building here was first started in 4th Century, and much of it, like this chapel, was hewn from the cliffs. My image here was hand held, and I did not use flash, which made it very grainy. A couple of Topaz textures were added to cover up the noise and add atmosphere. Many thanks to Tatev Khorenyan, whose depth of knowledge about the world's first Christian country is awesome!
