47541 "The Queen Mother" at Ravensthorpe

            47541 "The Queen Mother" passes through the derelict buildings of Ravensthorpe Station, which in the 50's and 60's won numerous awards as one of the best kept stations in the UK. The Newcastle/Liverpool services were almost 100% class 47 at the time and one never quite knew what might turn up. The town of Dewsbury can be seen in the background, with Hanging Heaton Golf Club top left.
