1975 Volvo 244 DL 2.1 Saloon.

            Unbelivable that you can still see a 36 year old Volvo in everyday use around Fulham, and despite it's weathered appearance, it was still solid enough. Weirdly, and what surprised me most, was the fact that the owner was no older than mid 30s, this car could even be older than him. He was sat in it most of the day as well, so this was a chance photo. Quite an early 244, the model being released the previous year, something about this elderly Volvos that makes them incredibly appealing looking, and it's interesting to see how similar the later 240 looks, the basic design lived on for nearly another 20 years.
Lincoln numberplate, it's moved around a little bit.
