EDD 685C Lodge's Coaches Bedford SB Duple Belle Vega

            I travelled down with Lodge's Bedford to the Festival of Transport at Chatham Historic Dockyard 2018

The building to the left was constructed in the 18th Century for the dockyard's two master attendants. In 1865 the River Medway was designated a Dockyard Port under the control of the King's/Queen's Harbourmaster - the assistant harbourmaster then worked from this building overseeing all moorings and movements on the river that would affect the navy's use of the river.
