The Series II Tens were strictly conventional in design, built on a 100 inch wheelbase with beam axles and cart springs all round, though the Wolseley 10-40 was set apart from its Morris counterpart in having an OHV 4 cylinder engine against a SV of the same capacity in the Morris.
The car had a four speed gearbox, easi-clean wheelswith a bustle back boot and hydraulic brakes
