tough day to be a snowman - explore #87

            We had a pretty heavy snowfall about one week before halloween, enough to make a back yard snowman.  

Every snowman needs a carrot for a nose.  And Oliver loves carrots.

Fortunately he's predictable so I could position myself to frame these shots.  According to EXIF data, these three shots were taken in less than two seconds.  I didn't realize how tough the day was for the snowman until I was editing the photos and saw that Kael had also taken one of his arms.  

For those of you who don't know Oliver, he is an amazing nine year old golden who had a hind limb amputation for osteosarcoma in August.  He is doing awesome and as you can see, is even able to stand on that one hind leg to do a quick 2 second nose job for the snowman.  His sister Kael is an eleven year old golden and pretty amazing too.
