"The Good Stuff is Over Here" - a photo on Flickriver

            When I first arrived at Amboseli National Park, my driver met me at the little airstrip and said  as we drive to the camp you will see wildlife so it will be your first game drive. I unpacked by small camera, by African standards, and we travelled on. 

All of a sudden our eyes were met by ponds of brilliant pea green. I had never seen such intense color in Africa or perhaps in the world. This zebra is reaping one of the wonderful benefits of Mt Kilimanjaro and is happy to splash and wade through the water and algae for food and drink. The wonders of nature found in Africa never cease to amaze me.
