1926 Chevrolet Superior K 4 door Landau in Guelph Ontario when new

            This is my Great Uncle Harry Hutton and Aunt Elizabeth (Goddard) with their daughter Lillie. This photo was taken in Guelph, Ontario in 1926 and I'm going to assume they are quite proud of their new Chevrolet Landau closed sedan. With Lillian looking through the rear door glass she likely wanted the viewer to see that she was protected in this new car from the elements. I do not remember ever meeting these relations. They were all born in England and immigrated here to Canada and Guelph in 1914. 
This photo has been in my collection for a long time and it was not until Gord Hazlett passed away this week on March 20 2013 that I finally got a clue as to what the car was. Gord a well known car nut  and author of numerous old auto adventure story books had owned for years a 1927 Pontiac Landau. When I saw the photo of him and his wife with their favorite car I realized the GM connection and started hunting for a proper identification. 
Hope you enjoy this family photo of a neat old Chevrolet and to Gord thanks for all the laughs too.  
This Chevrolet Landau model was the top of the line in '26 selling for $930.00 CND and the least expensive the Roadster at $655 CND.
