Verso la luce..

Parliamo dei limoni, ma cos’avranno mai di magico?

"Sarebbe semplice rispondere, osservando i quadri esposti all’ingresso della casa museo: è la luce l’elemento che ti cattura dal primo istante.
Poggiati su un tavolo o dentro un canestro di giunco o in un vassoio d’argento, sembrano dipinti nel momento in cui il raggio di sole penetra nello studio dell’artista.
Giuseppe Carta ferma l’attimo e lo trasferisce sulla sua tela, imprigionandolo per sempre. A quel punto i limoni brillano di un colore riflesso, quasi accecante, esaltato dal sapiente gioco
d’ombre; quasi che il quadro debba inseguire una sua vita quotidiana, con l’alternarsi del giorno e della notte.
La grande sala verde è interamente proiettata verso la luce, punto di riferimento della ricerca artistica del pittore di Banari, che si completa proprio con i limoni.
Giuseppe Carta li coglie dall’albero quando sono ben maturi e il loro colore è arrivato al massimo della luminosità.
Poi, per l’artista, comincia il momento dell’attesa: quello del raggio di luce che arriva presto e illumina il quadro, evidenziando anche il più piccolo dettaglio di una pittura, che sembra muoversi con la grande forza della semplicità."

Sono rimasta incantata da questo quadro, i limoni sembrano veri!!
