中国杭州西湖 Hangzhou West Lake China

Beautiful lake of Hangzhou during evening walk. The lake is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has gone thru several emperor dynasty in history.

The pagoda in the background is Leifeng Pagoda 雷峰塔 built in AD975 and rebuilt in 2002. It is also known for the Legend of the White Snake in some of the movies.

The photo is taken during evening where the sunsets starts to kick in. it was filled with too many crowds and photographers trying to wait for the golden hour moment to take the shot along with their tripods. i do not have a tripod with me and so i just took the shot with VR on.

The photo was taken back in 2013 during my trip to China and left the file in my disk for 2 years approximately as I felt that I am not good enough to process this photo back 2 years ago. Here it is now, imported the raw file and processed fully in Lightroom CC. I have several versions of this photo from the output and I like this the most so far. Who knows, perhaps with time to come, my processing skills may improve and come out with a better version than this. For now, enjoy and thank you for all who have viewed, commented, followed and favorite my photos. Much appreciated. It comes a long way ;)
