State Theater - Auburn,Nebraska - a photo on Flickriver

            The Booth Theater appears to have opened prior to the 1930s. In 1941 it was renamed The State Theater. A few years ago the previous owners,who had operated the State for several decades,decided to retire and donated the theater to the Dublin School District. There was a problem, the school district would need to raise about $100,000 for much needed repairs and renovation. The community rolled up their sleeves and raised the necessary funds,and completed the renovation. The State Theater is once again serving the community and is back in the business of showing movies. Auburn,Nebraska. 6.18.2017.
