Palace Theater - Marfa,Texas - a photo on Flickriver

            The Palace Theater was built in 1905 as the Marfa Opera House. It was updated in the Art Deco style in the 1930s. Not sure when it first became the Palace and started showing movies. The theater closed in the 1970s and is now an illustrator's studio. The building next to the Palace is an old gas station/garage.
