Old friends - a photo on Flickriver

Old friends

            I'm still of the belief that every photographer has their own favourite location, where they keep returning to find new shots or expand their creative talents.
This has to be one of those places for me. 
Burrator Reservoir on the edge of Dartmoor. 
There is so much to see/do here that there are no less than 12 different shots in my photo stream of the surrounding area!

This is the main reservoir Dam head, finished in 1898, it has been helping to supply water to the Plymouth area for over 100 years now.

Taken in between torrential downpours, from the roof of the generator building!
