            Die Goldammer (Emberiza citrinella) ist eine Vogelart aus der Familie der Ammern (Emberizidae). Sie ist die häufigste Ammer in Europa und einer der charakteristischen Brutvögel der Feldmark. Außerhalb der Brutzeit bilden sich mitunter größere Trupps, die sich an günstigen Nahrungsplätzen am Rand von Dörfern oder an Fasanen- und Rebhuhnschütten einfinden. Während der Brutzeit dagegen ist die Goldammer streng territorial.

The yellowhammer (Emberiza citrinella) is a species of bird in the bunting family (Emberizidae). It is the most common bunting in Europe and one of the characteristic breeding birds of the Feldmark. Outside the breeding season, larger flocks sometimes form and gather at favourable feeding sites on the edge of villages or at pheasant and partridge huts. During the breeding season, however, the yellowhammer is strictly territorial.
