Weekend Diversions - Explored - a photo on Flickriver

            The Our Daily Challenge "It's The Weekend" theme calls for a photo that shows something special that can only be enjoyed on the weekend. For me, the return of warm weather combined with the loosening of Covid-19 restrictions means the opportunity to attend and photograph a variety of weekend outdoor events that were cancelled last year, such as historical reenactments. 

This shot was taken last Saturday at an event with costumed reenactors demonstrating early American skills. I especially liked the look and costume of the near gentleman here, who was discussing blacksmithing and carpentry with visitors.
