Cycle in the sun - a photo on Flickriver

Cycle in the sun

            Walking along the Thames Path when I came across this cycle rack with a solitary bike, the image didn't initially jump out on me due to the flat lighting, but as I observed the scene the overcast sky broke and the sunlight shone across the scene highlighting the bike and making the picture. I exposed for the highlights leaving the shadows to darken and make the bike stand out.
