N944UA Birthday Flight-2 GRR - a photo on Flickriver

            From the archives still: This is Capt. Steven Smith UAL/SEA after flying UAL Flight 1134 from Chicago O'Hare to Grand Rapids GRR. This flight represented 35 years of the 737 flying in the USA. United was the launch customer in the US for the 737, the first flight having been flown to GRR from ORD on April 28, 1968. This is April 28, 2003 and we had an impromptu celebration on board this flight, with flight announcement from the cockpit by Capt. Smith. This is at Gate B-1 and a post-flight photo opp. We missed celbrating 40 years this past April 28, 2008 so I post this now. This is UAL Boeing 737-522 N944UA; Nose No. 1644
