WLE 82 (187 010-1) bij Salzbergen op 21-9-2022

            Sinds de jaarwisseling werk ik een paar uurtjes minder waardoor ik op woensdag vaak vrij kan nemen. Als het dan ook nog mooi weer is en als de tuin er goed genoeg bij ligt, wordt ook wel eens het spoor opgezocht. Op woensdag 21 september werd eerst kort Twente bezocht en daarna werden een aantal plekken aan de Emslandstrecke bezocht. Vooral in Duitsland liep het aardig qua goederentreinen.

Aan het einde van de middag werd de stek bij Salzbergen bezocht. Deze ligt iets ten noorden van de bekende stek bij Block Deves. Er hing eerst een grote donkere wolk voor de zon waardoor de Volvo-trein werd verspeeld. Dit vond ik niet echt een hele grote ramp. Toen de zon inmiddels achter de wolk vandaan was gekomen en bijna op z'n laagste punt stond, kon ik vlak voor vertrek nog een fraaie cargo pakken.

Hier zien we de WLE 82 (187 010-1) met een grindtrein met als vermoedelijke eindbestemming Spelle. De trein rijdt vanuit Rheine door tot het station van Salzbergen waar kop wordt gemaakt. Een tijdje later zal de trein dan weer passeren richting Rheine. In Rheine komt de trein dan aan de goede kant van het station aan om de lijn richting Spelle te kunnen nemen. Daar zorgt een diesellocomotief voor the last mile op de goederenspoorlijn Rheine-Spelle.
