SŽ 644-004 te Bohinjska Bistrica op 8-8-2010

            Een interessante treinverbinding is de autotreinverbinding tussen Bohinjska Bistrica und Most na Soci in Slovenië. Op de trein worden de auto’s en de bestuurders meegenomen door een tunnel. De rit duurt 15 minuten, terwijl de rit met de auto over de bochtige wegen 1,5 uur kost! Het is een leuke combinatie van autowagens op open wagens en een personenrijtuig.

Op 8 augustus 2010 vertrekt de 35 jaar oude SŽ 644-004 met autotrein 855 Bohinjska Bistrica-Podbrdo onder luid gegrom van station Bohinjska Bistrica. Er hing een gemoedelijke sfeer op het overigens niet druk bereden station. Het emplacement, bestaande uit vijf sporen was ruim voldoende voor de paar treinen per dag die hier passeren.
