Ford ‘Deuce’ Highboy in Motion - a photo on Flickriver

            That’s a really nice ‘32 Ford Roadster! I really like the Halibrand style ‘kidney bean’ wheels, a traditional choice for hot rods. The exhaust has a blinded-off opening that allows bypassing of the mufflers if desired. Another traditional feature that can also be included into the ‘good practice’ category would be the headlight placement - low position so that the mounting brackets can be shorter to minimize vibration effects, and also positioned fore-aft so that both headlights remain visible even when viewed from off to the side.

‘Highboy’ refers to that the body sits above the frame rails which is of course how it came assembled originally. A ‘lowboy’ would have its body sit lower onto the frame rails, hiding them from view,
