One summer.

            A mandatory road stop, with a little fun thrown in.

Taken a long time ago, with my Minolta 700si, on 35mm film, while on a short road trip.

VB, is short for Victoria Bitter,  (an Australian beer, from the state of Victoria), produced by Carlton & United Breweries, in Abbotsford, a suburb of Melbourne, Australia, 2 km east of Melbourne's Central Business District. 

l used to live near the brewery, and ride my chrome molly (yes that long ago) mountain bike, in the park land to the east of the brewery. 
Some days it smells like Marmite, or Vegimite, down wind. (Vegimite is a delicious : ) spread, don't let anyone tell you any differnt!).
It goes down very well on toast, the day after a session, drinking beer. 

A bluey is the singlet that he is wearing. 
Among certain groups, it is an icon of Australia, and denotes a working class man, or woman.
The word bluey, has a long history in Australia. 
It carries an inference, of a man who travels for work.
I presume the word morphed to identify the singlet, as it was originally used to identify a swag, (role out bed), or a heavy blue coat. 
The word related, to the color of the material used, for the heavy blue coat or swag, that was used by itinerant workers.
It dates back to a recorded, 1878, ( as per my Oxford, The Australia National Dictionary (second edition)).
