JUST LIKE BUSES

            You wait to see a Peak at Shrewsbury for a long time and then two come along at the same time!
45015 heads north with a steel coil train as 46027 heads in the opposite direction light engine and seen at Kemps Eye near Sutton Bridge Junction on an unknown date in 1983/84.

Certainly looks like summer - you can tell because the sun is in!!!
46027 was not withdrawn until November 1984. And 45015 not until March 1986.
The negative was dated 1984 but I can't rely on this being accurate. The very roughly inscribed number on the front of 46027 may help come up with a date.
45015 was sold into preservation but is unrestored.
at The Battlefield Line. I understand it makes quite a sad sight.
