South Bound Steel

            Just a few years ago this was a daily working but alas it’s now confined to running just on Saturday’s if you are in luck. 60099 passes through the delightful location of Pontrilas in Herefordshire, a stone’s from the Welsh border, working the 6V75 south bound steel train (empties) to Margam from Dee Marsh in Flintshire. For those interested, I have been informed that this view from the road bridge is back on having been cleared recently. Alas, those of us in Wales are banned from visiting England for the forseeable future!
