            Brancaster Staithe Harbour..
Brancaster Staithe was once a Roman town and thriving port. This part of the Norfolk coast is renowned for mussels and fishing vessels still work from Brancaster. The harbour is also home to Brancaster Sailing Club, with many sailing boats stored in and around the harbour.Depending on the time of day, this landscape can look very different. At low tide there’s more land than sea. Glistening grey mudflats stalked by terns and waders stretch out endlessly ahead. Dark-green salt marsh is brightened by colourful sea lavender and sea pea.
