Abused & Abandoned Jungle Dogs.

They've been told before not 2 touch Mickey !
But they are monkeys with no brain 4 thinking.

Had many issues trying to get to the temple
in the last couple of days. 4AM no# 1's worried
about the weather, I told her No Big Deal cuz
I have meds that needed 2 be there yesterday.

Last nights storm felt as if the house was about
to leave it's foundation. When I did leave at 5:AM
there was tree limbs, leaves, plastic stuff covering
the roads like a giant warm blanket. Also there was
a fair amount of trees blown across the road ways !
But, it wasn't raining or blowing on the trip out to the
temple. Coming home it was a way different story ;-(~

Did the kibble hand-off with Mr Leg Man then raced
over to The Dog Palace to park my ride. Rocky beat
me by seconds and Mama was soon to follow. Bike
is unloaded into The Bingo Room and The Blue Tube
is filled with a bunch of food an stuff for todays chores.

Rocky, my main man, and of course Mama escort me
across the broken concrete walking bridge and on to
the nuns place. Monkeys were everywhere causing a
lot of mischief an mayhem ! Handed off more cool stuff
to the nuns, picked up Little Mickey and away we go to
The Spirit House. Mama and Rocky are kept busy clearing
the way as the primates were crazed after last nights storm.

Once we arrived at The Spirit House the dogs were fed
their usual same same while the monkeys continued to
pester us constantly. The aggressive alpha primate
you see here came up to Mickey and grabbed
some of his kibble and then showed his fangs.
Mama and Rocky exploded and went after
him like heat seeking missiles. Rocky did
bite his tail while in pursuit but the ape
escaped and this is what you see.

In due time we head back to the nuns
place where all the dogs are cared for.

Then with Mama leading the way
we head for The Hooligans turf.

As usual Mama waits on the boundary
line always keeping a close eye on me.

Kibble is spread out for them in front of The Spirit Cave.
Boo Boo's monkey wound is addressed with medicine.
The head monk is given instructions in Thai and more
of the same medicine I used to heal Mr Ed's wounds.

The guppies are fed and Mr Ed got his quota of carrots.
Miss Gibbon is next in line to receive her puppy kibble.
Pot-bellied pig also was fed carrots and dog kibble.

From here Mama and I cross back across the
broken concrete walking bridge into the
east side of The DMZ on our way to
feed Molly and her crew at ---
The Dog Palace.

Constant monkey problems everywhere we went.
My bamboo cane has been repaired with strong
fiber tape and came in real handy all morning !

Scooter is loaded then Mama and I return
to the nuns place for more K9 maintenance.
Brushing, toenail clipping, dings an dents are
all repaired.The webbing on their four paws is
spread and any ticks soon meet their fate. Then
they're rolled over and the same same but different
process starts all over again. So, my morning chores
have been completed except for one last personal thing.

What might that be you ask ?

It's a field bath in the dogs water bucket .;-)~~~

My travels here at The Monkey Temple takes
me into some nasty nasty, big nasty places !
Monkeys poop and pee everywhere ! ...;-0~

Feet and sandals are scrubbed first ---------
Then I work my way up an over my head.
Before The Blue Tube is put away
it's wheels are washed in any
mud-puddle that is close
to The Dog Palace
4 same reason.

My pants always dry out on the way home.

No# 1 wife told me to expect Big Big storms
from now until the 6th. Now wait a minute !
Was last night and the last few days just a
warmup for the big ones yet to come I ask ?

She stops and looks deep into my eyes.
I could see her MoJo, Ouija Board Brain
going full blast as I waited for her answer.
Slowly her index finger is softly placed
directly between my eyes and she said,
--- Yes --- )~~~

The routine in the early morning is to stop at
the gas station on the eastern end of town.
The last one before the temple. The tank is
just barely above half so it will be filled as
not to run low. It takes a quarter tank to
get from here to the temple and back.
"Here" - meaning, this gas station.

There's 100 baht in my pocket = about 3 dollars.
It took 80 Baht to fill up, leaving me 20 baht.
No big deal, there's an ATM here so the ATM
card is inserted and 500 baht was requested..
Some kind of beeping went off and the card
is spit back out ? Did it again, card is spit out.
I start nonchalantly glancing around looking
for The Men in Black. No helicopters and no
Men in Black were spotted. Mounted the bike
and split for The Monkey Temple with full tank.

No#1 wife told me all the ATM's in
our area are down due to storms.
I told her about The Men in Black.
She just stared at me, so I split ;-)~

Anyway here I am home with three
more rescued jungle dogs next 2 me.
Outside it's dark angry skies with wind
and rain coming and going at a slow pace.
