,, 1/2 Time Report ,, - a photo on Flickriver

We were a little bit late on our takeoff
this morning. Around 3:30AM the rain
started to slow, by 6:AM it stopped ;-)

Doing the first 276 meters of the path/trail
mud filled pothole road was a challenge.
But as usual we did it to where we take
the hard 90% left turn into the, mud -
cobra field. And it was soggy mud.

Of course the hooligans thought they
had just arrived in mud heaven ;-0-

Mr Murphy had set many traps
and we were fortunate enough
to have escaped, all of them !

There was one area that was dangerously
way to soggy, so what did we do you ask ?

Well, we did the only thing we could do.
And that was race through it three times.
It was so much fun I was shifting into 2nd
gear part way through while dodging the
palm oil bows that were trying to rip me
out of the saddle. Huge big fun was had.

That section was about 43-47 meters long
over on the southside by the river berm ;-)-

After awhile, as you see here, the dogs
tongues were hanging low, like real low.

And that my friends is one of the key
Indicators they have had enough fun.

Everyone was loaded up into the sidecar
and off we went back to base camp where
fresh food and a dry bed is waiting for them.
