Everything here is exclusive and unique, from the spectacular Indian mansion dating back to 1914, where it is located, to its privileged setting at the foot of Ribadesella Beach. It's a paradisiacal environment with views of the Cantabrian Sea, which matches the architecture and interior design of this hotel, recently chosen as one of the top 10 beach hotels in Spain by Trivago and El País' Traveler.

The mansion is part of the remarkable row of stately homes crowning Santa Marina Beach. This summer colony, which emerged in the early 20th century under the guidance of the Marquise of Argüelles, represents one of the best-preserved examples of Indian architecture in Asturias. Villa Rosario was commissioned by Antonio Quesada González, who, like many Asturians, made a fortune in Cuba through the tobacco trade. The architect José Quesada Espulgas, his wife's stepbrother, was in charge of its construction, aiming to rival the neighboring mansions in beauty and ostentation.

Todo aquí es exclusivo y singular, desde el espectacular palacete indiano de 1914 donde se halla, hasta su privilegiado emplazamiento, a los pies de la playa de Ribadesella. Un entorno paradisíaco, con vistas al Mar Cantábrico, que está a la altura de la arquitectura y el interiorismo de este hotel , elegido recientemente como uno de los 10 mejores hoteles de playa en España, según Trivago y el Viajero de El País.

El palacete forma parte de la singular hilera de casas señoriales que coronan la playa de Santa Marina. Esta colonia de veraneo, que surgió a principios del siglo XX de la mano de la Marquesa de Argüelles, es una de las representaciones mejor conservadas de la arquitectura indiana en Asturias. Villa Rosario fue mandada a construir por Antonio Quesada González, quien, como tantos asturianos, hizo fortuna en Cuba a cuenta del tabaco. El arquitecto José Quesada Espulgas, hermanastro de su mujer, se encargó de su construcción, que debía de competir en belleza y ostentación con los palacetes vecinos.
