Granite Island Panorama - 18th of October 2009

            I haven't made a panorama for quite a while so I took my Kingpano panoramic tripod head to Granite Island when I went there a couple of weeks ago. On the southern side of the island I saw a view that would be perfect for a panorama, so I climbed on top of a rock near the path and set up my gear. It was very windy on the day! In the full sized version (the non-resized for web version that is), you can see someone taking a picture of a couple in the bottom right hand corner of the image just near where the sea is hitting the rocks.

This is a combination of 7 single images taken in vertical orientation. Each image processed in Lightroom first (well, I processed the first one and then batch copied the settings to the rest! :P) then stitched, blended and tweaked in Photoshop CS4. Wish there were more dramatic clouds, but you can't have everything! I'll be taking my pano bracket to more places with me now as I really love taking panos, I just didn't have the bracket with me often enough before.
