St Michael's, Tettenhall - a photo on Flickriver

The parish church of St Michael & All Angels, Tettenhall. The church suffered a serious fire in 1950 and was subsequently entirely rebuilt to a new design by Bernard Miller (in a kind of contemporary reinterpretation of Gothic with especially distinctive gabled aisle windows) except for the medieval west tower and Victorian south porch which survived the blaze.

I would have liked to have seen inside but alas this church is not open outside of service times and would likely require making an appointment to explore within. Thus I reluctantly had to content myself with some external shots and move on.
