20110803 Kuleli

The Kuleli Military High School bathed in evening light, on the Asian side of the Bosphorous, Istanbul, Türkiye (nee Turkey).

The school, which was built in 1843 was closed following the 2017 coup attempt. It is now set to be turned into a museum.

Taken with a Nikon D40, fitted with a Tamron 70-300mm F4/5.6 DI LD (Nikon AFS) lens and processed in GIMP and Photoscape.
