20110824 Calton Hill

The view from Edinburgh castle towards Calton Hill and the Firth of Forth beyond. The UNESCO World Heritage site is crowned with the Nelson Monument, and National Monument of Scotland. The Martyrs of Reform Monument, Governors House, and St Andrew's House adorn the slope, while in the foreground you can see North Bridge cutting over Waverley station.
