A sunset view of the monument-laden Calton Hill, in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Possibly the most monument-bedecked location in the world, from left to right the view takes in the Dugald Stewart Monument, the Royal Observatory/City Observatory and Old Royal High School, the Martyrs of Reform Monument, a glimpse of the National Monument of Scotland, the Nelson Monument, Governors House, and St Andrew's House.

Taken with a Nikon D40 and a Nikkor AFS DX 18-55mm F/3.5-5.6G II lens, and processed in GIMP and Photoscape.
