Stranger 119 - Jack - a photo on Flickriver

It was very appropriate that my 119th stranger was called Jack as he came across as very much a Jack the Lad/cheeky character. This was my second stranger from our meet up over the weekend.

We were hanging around of this side street off of Brick Lane and all the other guys were busy either shooting or seeking out strangers. I wanted to do a slightly different shot and I thought this sliver of the green wall would be cool. All I needed was a suitable stranger.

A bit of patience paid off and eventually I saw Jack and he appeared to be finishing of a conversation. I went over, stood in front of them and asked Jack for a portrait. Jack said, "Yeah alright" then with a smile and so I brought him over to the green wall.

Sharaz, aka MrPhotoBunny, was on reflector duty for me and at first I asked Jack to keep his shades on. Realising that the reflector would shot up in his glasses, I directed the pose accordingly, and this was that shot. I also then proceeded to get a variety of other shots without his glasses and you can see some of those with the alternative tryptich. This, however, was the shot for me as it was slightly different to my usually close in headshot.

Jack is usually in suits all the time but recently he lost his shirt collection (apparently a long story) and that was why he was in this jacket. He seemed like a really fun person who goes with the flow and generally happy.
