NIPPaysage, Place Joseph-Venne, 2013-2104

Projet d’une nouvelle place publique qui s’inscrit dans un important mouvement de revitalisation du quartier Ste-Marie. La place fait office de parvis au bâtiment du Centre Gédéon-Ouimet de la CSDM et établit une liaison avec le bâtiment de la JTI-MacDonald Corp y faisant face sur la rue Ontario Est. Inspirée de l’engouement de verdissement du quartier, la place minérale intègre deux grandes pochettes densément plantées de grands arbres conçues pour gérer le drainage des eaux de surface. Le motif au sol de feuilles géantes prends au centre de la place une 3e dimension en devenant une fontaine rétro-éclairée.
