Climbing Wolf Snake 3 - a photo on Flickriver

            Wolf snakes in Asia are often considered as showing batesian mimicry, whereby they have evolved similar coloration to the local krait species. This one here shows how the clear black and white patterning might easily lead predators to believe it is a many-banded krait (Bungarus multicinctus multicinctus).
