bare soles upon the sands(poem)(do not fave without commenting please)

            I  only meant to 'see' the sea
upon this fine spring day;
'the sands' seemed to beckon me
"take off your shoes and play" 

bare feet caressing golden sands
bare rocks to take my 'ease'
dry my toes with golden sun,
cool me with salty breeze

no gold is needed for such joy,
it lies within our hands..
to sense  the lucious    pleasure
of bare soles upon the sands

early in the evening, as I relaxed after a barefoot walk on the sand, the fading light hit my feet just right so I quickly set up the tripod and snapped this..the poem began developing as I lingered, not really wanting the feelling to end. I am glad things like this
are still 'free' for even we retired and poor ones to enjoy.  OH, incidently..if you look at it large you will note way out to sea the cruise ship my wife and her sister are on..they got the 'cruise'..I got the 'bruise'(in the pocketbook
