Copper capped at Carlisle - a photo on Flickriver

            Castle class 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe at Carlisle with the return charter to Birmingham via Shap. In 1926 a Castle was loaned to the LMS and worked services between London Euston to Cewe and Carlisle .Throught the test weeks 5000 Launceston Castle showed complete mastery of the Shedules and made a lasting impression on the LMS authorites.
