Detail differences at Penrith - a photo on Flickriver

            GWR Castle 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe departs platform 3 at Penrith after being pathed here for a Avanti Pendolino.  Note the Hawksworth straight sided tender introduced on his County class locomotives and fitted to some Castle and Hall locomotives. Which i think improved the apperance. Also the GUV water carrier (should it be painted Chocolate and Cream) The weather sheet between the cab and tender is apparntly a standered GWR type but I do not recall seeing locos fitted with it in BR days. You would certainly need one in bad weater on  the spartan Churchward footplates.
