My new happy place (Explored) - a photo on Flickriver

            This was taken this morning up at Win Green Hill on the Dorset/Wiltshire border. I was hankering after one of those layered mist photos where you get ribbons of mist weaving through the countryside, obviously you need to be somewhere elevated. I didn't quite get that, in fact I thought the whole thing was going to be a complete fail but in the distance I was rewarded by red clouds and the mist did appear although it very quickly turned into a murky cloud bank.

Win Green is just beautiful, the views are stunning and all you can hear at that time of day are sky larks.

All in all a success but I have to say I don't cope well with these June sunrises. Right now I feel like I have just come off a flight from Australia.
