Make Way For Progress - a photo on Flickriver

            This title may be a bit misleading. Along the Wall, in Nijmegen, are buildings that have been earmarked for destruction to make way for extremely expensive high-rise apartments. An interesting thing has been happening during this process...many of the old buildings are being used for new and exciting businesses. New restaurants, galleries, small stores have moved in for an agreed 5 or so years and that time has now been extended. The area for many of these "temporary" establishments, what was a monstorous meat packing plant, is like a steam-punk world. This building is empty and I'm wondering what it's fate will be. Taken with a crappy plastic Photon 120 Camera on Bergger  Pancro 400 film.
