Before Jane Was There - a photo on Flickriver

            This is the last image taken of the white house before it became Jane's house for me. I met Jane just after taking this image. She had grown up in this house and owned it. We visited while she told me about her past, how her family had moved there during WWII, and how this farm failed and her family went there separate ways. She got up, went into the house and brought out a No 2A Brownie Box, which she sold to me. Jane is poor and struggling. The town has condemned this place. She had come up from the Boston area to possibly get the house ready for sale but it is just too full and uncleanable. Taken using a flipped lens Brownie Hawkeye on expired Tri-X film.
