A Glorious End To A Fabulous Day - a photo on Flickriver

            The warm dreamy diffused light of sunset through sea spray and fingers of fog contrasted significantly with the icy grasp of powerful North Atlantic beach break around my ankles. 
At low tide, you can walk along the sand to another three smaller bays north of the main beach at Sandwood Bay. Time, however, is limited since each is cut off as the tide rises and the water alone, even in September, can take your breath away  whilst a vicious rip current grabs at you determined to drag you out and north to the 350ft high cliffs at Cape Wrath.
