A Hint of Autumn

            It rained yesterday, which was a welcome occurrence after a string of hot summer days. The days are growing perceptibly shorter now that we are in mid-August, and I can notice the first hints of autumn. The Lady's Mantle in the background has changed from bright chartreuse to burnished gold as its flowers fade.
