Cardamine pratensis (cuckoo flower or lady's smock)

            Loads of this in a field beside our lane. The field has been always grazed or let grow in the summer for silage but this year it hasnt been grazed since December. Amazing how much of this plant that is flowering right now. I wonder are these plants 10 or 20 years old. Very patient perennials maybe finally getting their chance to make seed, I hope to harvest a bit of the seed (with Permission of Ronnie) and grow a tray of it for the wetter bits of my new meadow.
