Iranian nomadic husband and wife - a photo on Flickriver

            An Iranian husband and wife look to the camera in the village Aghdash in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, Iran on August 24, 2007. The man is smiling broadly, but the woman looks a little pensive. This couple are from a line of nomadic people, but they do not make the trek from summer to winter pastures like their ancestors. They are sitting inside their residence, which is a tent. The husband says they will live their retirement there, because they prefer it compared to living in a city.
