Where Eagles Dare... - a photo on Flickriver

This is another shot from my recent trip to Eagle Creek in the Columbia River Gorge with Ben Canales. We were hiking and the fog kept moving in and out... creating a fantastic atmosphere.

Eagle Creek and the entire River Gorge are known primarily for their waterfalls. However, I am out to challenge the notion this place is only about waterfalls. In fact, and my next three shots from Eagle Creek will showcase a kind of beauty that trasends and rise above any waterfall no matter how large. Its a high task, but one I willing to tackle. Thing is, I have an ace up my sleeve; the ace being the natural beauty that is there for all to see when we just stop staring at the water.
