644 – Cristo Salvador de Gero – Catedral Köln (Germany).

            La catedral de Colonia (Köln) Alemania, nos sorprende por sus grandes dimensiones y buscamos en ella donde está la denominada Capilla de la Cruz y el Crucifijo de Gero, una gran escultura del siglo X que tiene dos metros de altura y está hecha de madera de roble.
Representa a Cristo muerto con un gran realismo, cuerpo desplomado, huesos y músculos marcados, además de tener la cabeza inclinada y los ojos cerrados, en representación del Cristo Salvador de la Humanidad.

Cologne Cathedral (Köln) Germany, we are surprised by its large size and look in it where is the so-called Chapel of the Cross and the Crucifix of Gero, a large sculpture of the tenth century that is two meters high and is made of wood Oak.
It represents the dead Christ with a great realism, body collapsed, bones and muscles marked, in addition to having the head bowed and eyes closed, in representation of the Christ Savior of Humanity.
