Resolve | Lensbaby 001x - a photo on Flickriver

            My resolution for 2014: to ride at least 5000km on my bicycle(s).  This to me is more concrete than "lose weight" or "get in shape", which will happen in due course, provided I stick to it.

Since it's -22°C as I write this, I'm pretty much resigned to starting off indoors. Given the Ottawa winters we endure, I likely won't be riding outside until late March (unless someone comes around and evicts Old Man Winter).

Thankfully I have Netflix to keep me company - there are few things more mind-numbing than going nowhere fast. Tonight I caught up on MI-5 ("Spooks" isn't exactly a friendly colloquialism on this side of the Atlantic) and put down 17km in 45 min. Only 4983km to go!
