Les cinq points d'une architecture nouvelle ont été mis en œuvre pour la Villa Savoye.
Ces cinq points ont été formulés par Le Corbusier en 1927 pour théoriser les principes fondamentaux du Mouvement Moderne. Ils découlent de l'emploi du béton armé : pilotis, toit-jardin, plan libre, fenêtres en longueur et façade libre.

The five points of a new architecture have been applied by Le Corbusier in the design of the Villa Savoye.
These five points were formulated by Le Corbusier in 1927 as the fundamental principles of the Modern Movement. They are linked to the use of reinforced concrete : pilotis, roof garden, open plan design, horizontal windows and free design of the façade.
