Malus domestica

            Our old apple tree seems to produce some fruits also this year although last year was a very good apple year. As commonly known apple trees produce fruits every other year in Finland. When the rowans are full of berries then the apple trees carry much fruit and vice versa. The reason is apple fruit moth (Argyresthia conjugella) that faves rowan berries.
